From Monday, October 24th to Wednesday, October 26th, a workshop under CAPITALISE, a European project aimed to improve the sustainability of agriculture, focused on the evolution of the photosynthetic capacity of maize, barley and tomatoes, is scheduled to take place in Aula 3 at Sant'Anna School Headquarters. The project, coordinated by Wageningen University, has 18 partners from 8 different countries in Europe, the United Kingdom, Israel and Ethiopia, including the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies.

Participating in the initiative, hosted by the Center of Plant Sciences, are researchers from 15 universities around the world. The purpose of the Pisa meeting is to reflect on the boundaries of research to improve photosynthesis for high-yield crops.
